Saturday, June 6th is the anniversary of D-Day. The allied forces of America, came together to storm the beaches of Normandy during WWII. That invasion released the control maintained by Nazi Germany.
As those brave men fearlessly stormed those beaches, it’s estimated that there were some 10,000 casualties. D-day is an example of heroes sacrificing their lives for a cause greater than themselves, the cause of freedom.
Interestingly, in Romans 12:1, 2, Christians are also called to sacrifice their lives for a cause bigger than ourselves, the cause of Christ.
As we willingly allow the Holy Spirit to invade our heart, He will free us from the control attempted by the world, the flesh, and the devil.
A spiritual battle exists in the heart of every Christian so be sure to “put on the whole armor of God.” It’s then that God can use you, Christian soldier, to accomplish fearless things for His honor and glory.
