What Year Were You Saved?

Updated: Nov 18, 2022

Here’s a question for Christians. What year was it that you were saved?

I’m asking, “When were you converted to Christ?” I’m not asking, “When were you baptized?” or “When did you receive the Lord’s supper?” I’m not asking about religious works that you have done, but I’m asking you, “When did you receive the work that Christ has done for you?” When was it that you were convicted about your sin?

When was it that you called on Christ to save you from the consequences of your sin? When did you seek God’s forgiveness?

For me, it was June of 1988.

When was it for you? Comment below to let us know what year you were saved. And, even if you do not comment below, please take time today to reflect on the day of your salvation, and praise God for the Gospel!

If you’ve never received Christ’s forgiveness, the Bible says, “TODAY is the day of salvation.”
