Some people say Jesus was just a prophet or a rabbi, among many prophets and rabbis who lived in His day. Some say He’s just an interesting historical figure.
Really the question, “Who is Jesus?” is the most important and divisive question facing mankind. Millions of Jewish and Islamic people today believe that He is just Jesus of Nazareth, but the Bible declares that He was more than that.
Over and over again the Bible explains that He is Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, the anointed One. He wasn’t just a prophet but He was “the Prophet.“ He is the One that Isaiah prophesied would be born of a virgin, which of course is a biological impossibility. What a miracle! (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25)
Jesus is Immanuel, “God with us.“ He is “Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6)
He is the only way to heaven. (John 14:6, Acts 4:12)
Who is Jesus? The best answer is; He is God! (Philippians 2:5-11)
I encourage you to take time today to rejoice in Him. Give your life in service to Him! (Matthew 16:24-26; Romans 12:1-2)
HE is WORTHY!
